Debbie Eggleston

Original Paintings

Several years ago Debbie began painting in watercolor when she took her first painting class from artist April Drew Foster in South Pasadena. Now she is an emerging artist having studied with Pasadena artist Eva Margueriette the past four years.

Debbie’s focus is to capture the nuance of color and harmony on canvas. She enjoys painting portraits, especially the children of Haiti - a volunteer passion - as well as the charismatic scenery in Pasadena, Southern California, Carmel and Sedona, Az. Debbie is an Associate Artist with the California Art Club, a member of the San Gabriel Valley Fine Arts Association and a member of the Gardens Art Guild of the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA.

In October 2009, Debbie won first place in the Seascape/Marine genre in the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association Fall Show for her oil painting entitled “Spanish Bay”. Her paintings have been presented at the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association, the Alhambra City Hall Art Show, various exhibitions and at Holy Family Church.
